Soccer / Football Thread Part Seven

Liverpool will be the most unconvincing Premier League winner in recent memory. They have nothing if the other team manages to shut Salah down.

that's why i've been concerned all year about them not really going out and signing anyone..and then they are still playing with fire by not re-signing him, VVD, and Trent to new contracts

Yeah, the Salah situation seems a bit odd. He's not getting younger, but he's still pretty much irreplaceable. Is it just negotiating tactics to get him on a cheaper deal? Pretty risky if so.

there's been rumors on the LP reddit that says that Salah and VVD are more or less done..but if true what's the hold up on announcing..TAA is gone, i am pretty sure..and we do not have any "stars" that can carry the team

I'm sure Liverpool won't lose all three on a free, but it's looking more and more likely that Salah is going to leave. He's won everything with Liverpool and they won't be the same team next year. He should go and make his Saudi billions whilst he can.

Meanwhile, for Forest it's looking more and more likely by the game. The Champions League was just a funny possibility but we're now 7 points clear of sixth with the best remaining fixtures in the league. This just might happen.
