Binnington will get yanked after giving up 3 quick goals to open the game. Canada will claw back to tie it 3-3, and then Adin Hill will stonewall us yanks for six straight periods before stickhandling the puck into his own net to end it. :sarcasm:

Homer pick, but Canada was only able to muster up 1 goal on Hellebuyck last time. I think this game could be even more physical (minus the fights) and favor the US.

Either way, glad it's the 2 best teams going at it.

I think USA is better overall on paper and am rooting for them, but Canada's goliath offense will be the wild card and will likely eek it out for them, not to mention they are going to be motivated to the gills to take the US down after game 1 and everything else that shall not be named...

No matter what, I am sure everyone is in store for a monumental and electric game of hockey and hopefully one to remember...

I agree but, TBH, except in goal, Canada is better on paper.
 
Canada wins. This surprises me as I have no faith in the goalie but the 3 big guys are too much for the Americans. Tkachuks are not good enough at actual hockey.

Understood, it can definitely go either way. No one on the planet is going to touch being able to throw Crosby, McDavid, and MacKinnon on the ice at the same time, but overall I think the US's defense and goaltending are better suited to to stop Canada's offense than Canada's defense stopping the US's offense which is littered with elite talent too that seem to have better chemistry playing together.

Ultimately though, I think when Canada is going all out and throwing everything out there, it is going to be extremely hard to keep the puck out of the net no matter what. I think it is gonna be close and Canada eeks it out, hopefully it is a good game and not a blowout either way :P

It's going to be game 7 prison rules which will favor the US imo. McDavid and MacKinnon will have guys bear hugging them most of the night. Both teams will get a PP in the first and then the whistles will disappear.
