during season jets tv said the old logo and Jersey similar to heritage will be new look after fanatics take over so I assume next season.

Fanatics is now selling the game jerseys. $500. What Adidas used to market as authentics are now known as Premier Player jerseys.

The jerseys selling for $500 were not available at retail during the adidas era. You had to get them from the team or from other sources. They are identical to what the players wear on the ice. $500 is a lot of money, but for some collectors this is a welcome change.
The authentics are almost exactly the same as the adidas with a small change to the shoulder fabric. Fanatics is using the same factories for both styles, so not much has changed.
