They have 7 years to put a team together. Seeing what they did in 2008, I fully expect China will win double gold in hockey, even with NHLers
They probably already put a bunch of kids into some uber hockey work camp.

That was the score in Mens' Basketball during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and China was more advanced at basketball than ice hockey when they were awarded the Beijing 2008 Olympics. I think if NHL players go to Beijing 2022 then a single digit margin of victory for a top-tier nation like Canada would be considered a moral victory for the Chinese hockey team.
