F*** it, this is the pure "from my gut" call post combine. I reserve the right to edit this before June 28 to curb my silly instincts, and I'll be in the building to get fired up (alongside many of you).

1 SJS - Macklin Celebrini
2 CHI - Levshunov
3 ANA - Yakemchuk
4 CBJ - Lindstrom
5 MTL - Demidov (and their fan base passes out from orgasm)
6 UTA - Dickinson
7 OTT - Parekh
8 SEA - Buium
9 CGY - Iginla
10 NJD - MBN (although I think this pick may get traded, I'm just not sure to who).
11 BUF - Helenius
12 PHI - Silayev
13 MIN - Catton
14 SJS - Solberg

33 - Badinka
42 - Brunicke
85 - Goalie (Gildof if available, if not, Nabokov)
116 - Kasper Pikkarainen
132 - Nathan Mayes
148 - A dartboard Russian
193 - Another Dartboard Russian
I'm going Max Chaos on this prediction. Also picking Eiserman because if it happens at least I predicted it :\

1. SJS - Celebrini
2. CHI - Demidov
3. ANA - Yakemchuk
4. CBJ - Lindstrom
5. MTL - Buium
6. UTA - Sennecke
7. OTT - Parekh
8. SEA - Levshunov
9. CGY - Silayev
10. NJD - Iginla
11. BUF - Helenius
12. PHI - MBN
13. MIN - Catton
14. SJS - Eiserman

33. Wallenius
42. Brunicke
85. Gildof (Yegorov will be gone I think)
116 - Pikkarainen
132 - Nathan Mayes
148/193 - Dartboard Russians

I know it was the Chaos prediction but Dickenson would absolutely be the pick there.

Prediction:

We draft Celebrini

The broadcast spends more time speculating on whether or not he's gonna go back to school than talking about what his addition means to San Jose

Pick 14 doesn't roll around until almost 2 full hours into the broadcast because every team needs to parade a sea of minority-stake owners' children on stage and make cringe worthy jokes about partying too hard in Vegas before congratulating the Florida Panthers AND THEN making their pick

The Sharks take Adam Jiricek at 14

His entire blurb is about his brother

I no longer need to watch the draft, as I have seen it here now.

I call this the "Wishful Thinking Draft Board" - through 5 rounds at least. All might be reaches at their respective draft spots outside of Celebrini at 1OA, but I'd love to see a couple of these guys picked - not necessarily in that order either. I've talked myself into thinking that they are what I imagine to be Mike Grier "types": high motor, high compete, a pop of pure offensive bet here and there.

Though if I were really to go down the rabbit hole here, I'd start imagining trades/pick swaps consisting of #14, #42, and #53.

1. Celebrini
14. Sennecke
33. Emery
42. Kleber
53. Hutson
85. Mustard
116: Nabokov
131. Fischer
143. Saarinen
