It must’ve been devastating for Green to bench Hamonic, but he must see by now how Kleven-Matinpalo is a better pair with synergy than Kleven-Hamonic. Might as well pair Kleven with a hamster.
Play the top-4 forty five minutes a night, I think Green has to roll with the rookie pair moving forward. The goalie plays better without Travis Hamster.
Yeah Kleven-Matinpalo weren't great, but Kleven still had a positive impact, and Matinpalo wasn't a liability unlike bottom left Hamonic.
Yeah, because it's Sanderson that is our MVP this stretch.I'd have never believed you 4 months ago if you said David Perron would be our MVP in the stretch.
you're right babyYeah, because it's Sanderson that is our MVP this stretch.

We haven't hit rock bottom yet.
This will be another loss.
Not much they didn't really do much even with all the PP time they had. Scores was close only because of some mistakes by our D. My point is our player can produce way more with proper set play in place that suits their skills 5 vs 5.We did have a ton of good cycle throughout the game, though. It was balanced at once between cycle and rush. What did Detroit generate at all 5on5 for most of the game?
Timing was stressful, but the reality is the other team is going to get chances and they are going to score goals.I'll take it, but bloody hell I hope the team stop letting teams start comebacks. My heart is weak and can't handle that lol
No doubt he's been great, but wow, that give away at our blue line in the dying minutes...out of characterYeah, because it's Sanderson that is our MVP this stretch.
Kind of routing for the NYI to pass Mtl, at least now that Clb has run out of gas.I am glad we sunk Detroit. I actually MUCH prefer Montreal make it in over them. They obviously aren't done yet but it's going to be extremely difficult for them to pass 4 teams in 10 games. Beyond unlikely imo. Glad we dealt them the fatal blow.
The team does need to play consistently better; particularly when they do not have the puck. We do not have the high end offensive talent that top teams have so we need to reduce goals against. Yes we have done some of that, but we need to be even better, OR start scoring more goals.I don’t want to get swept Personally.
Where was everyone calling me positive when I defended this team for the first 55 games of the season and ESPECIALLY when I hyped them during the first 20 games of the season when we were like .450. This team was playing a certain way.
Yeah. I think we are playing like ass now. But I was positive for a long time this season
I agree, but I also don't like to see a player in the low slot uncovered for a quick one-timer either. It's impossible on the PK to cover all the threats. I suppose the F must collapse towards the net to cover the opposing F closest to the net in the slot but that gives the D the one-timer.I dont get how professionals think allowing free access to your net down low is a good idea on the PK
Perron was great. I will admit Amadio pleased me too.Perron was a beast.
Amadio what a shift late in the 3rd . Glad he scored
Greig with another good game.
I thought we deserved the penalties we got, for the most part; however, the refs seemed to lose their whistles when Detroit committed some sins.Be nice to get a reasonably reffed game once and a while...
I am still waiting for someone on the Sens to hit Debricant real hard. Also suck it Debrincat shitter
