Post-Game Talk: SNES @ Wings, Thursday night 7pm

Tkachuk looking more like himself,
I like him with Pinto and Greig, gives that line an identity. If only we picked a good 4C at the deadline:

Zetterlund - Stutzle - Giroux
Perron - Cozens - Batherson
Tkachuck - Pinto - Greig
Cousins - ??? - Amadio

Any of the top 3 lines could be #1 on any given night. Then with better players on 4th line we wouldn't get hemmed in our zone or turn over pucks on odd man breaks.

Also LOVED seeing Matinpalo in tonight. Hamonic needs to sit for now.

Then Ullmark should have saved Tarasenko and Raymond's goal. Two can play at that game. Reimer did make some insane saves, which is a big reason we lost against the Sabres. The fact we overall played better and won is what matters.
The Raymond goal was bad.

K well I went over to take a peek at the Habs' post-game thread and now I feel like Burrowsaurus is actually quite a sensible poster.
Before the four nations I said we were an elite defensive team and everyone had bought into defence. Maybe not so sensible

Please just drop the shtick dude. It's become unbearable.
The shtick of..being positive when there are things to be positive about imo. And then negative when I think there are things to be negative about.

You guys just focus on when im negative. Which has really only been (within reason I am pessimistic sports fan in general) since the 4 nations because I truly think we’ve been bad since then.

I said green was doing a great job with the team for the entire first half of the season. When a lot got his board was saying “same old sens!” In October and November.

I guess the 3rd pair only gets 16+ minutes when Hamonic is on it.
Back to more reasonable TOIs tonight

Sanderson and Zub over 25 and Chabot over 24

Staois’ prized FA acquisitions have been bombs lately, Amadio has learned so much from Mark Stone, I can see the difference vs. his first stint. Smart forward, a versatile bottom 6 forward. Great value signing for another 2 years.

Perron has turned back the clock and looking like he is enjoying hockey as much as he did in St. Louis. Ottawa finally has a good 2nd line set.

Nice to see Stutzle score, I was saying the other day that he needed a garbage goal, but his snipe was magnificent skating 35 km/hr. The Ogre Tkachuk created that goal off a turnover where
He was molesting Raymond, mopping the ice with Lucas’ face. Nice sequence of play.

Ullmark was great and made a lot of tough saves. We need this version of Linus more consistently.

Kleven’s hit on Watson was a thing of beauty, foreshadowing a beast in the making.

f*** Detroit, it was nice to see them get their hopes up again only to get dashed by reality that Yzerman has built a turd pile of a team. Ahahahahahaa.

Go Sens f***ing GO!!!
