I just buy Nike skate shoes by this point. I'd like a pair of AJ1's or even Stan Smiths, but I'd probably treat them as a shoe to wear in more...formal-casual settings. And being in the Canadian Prairies means you basically can't use them for four or five months of the year because of snow and water, and get them dirty and grimy. Which, for me, is kind of making me paranoid about wearing anything white when it comes to shoes.
