Never really produced in St Louis or Pittsburgh for that matter except for when he was originally claimed/moved to the team.

I actually think he’ll have a decent 20-30 game stretch in a new environment.

However, this is probably better for both he and the Blues that someone claimed him.

Not a knock against Kapanen, but if the Blues would have put their popcorn vendor on waivers, the Oilers would have claimed him just out of spite for the offer sheets.
