I said before the season that I would happily trade Matthews getting 20 goals in the year if it resulted in a Cup.

He will break 30 thanks to injuries but he seems far more interested in piling up wins than goals. This is critical this season in particular.

Im curious, what makes you say he's more interested in wins rather than in scoring goals?

I think this would be the ideal Berube game if he could draw it up. We have drug the Canes right down to our level, not letting them get into their 5 man offensive cycle as they have been dicking around with the puck on entry..

I attended an April game many years ago and it was equally as boring, although the Leafs won that one. Players generally aren't going to try when there are only 2 games remaining in the season.
