Trying to make the playoffs this year was always a mistake. We need more talent, and we need to shed dead weight.

Armia's in his 7th year here and he's been dog shit for 6 of those years, minus about 25 games this year and 1 playoffs. How anyone wanted to re-sign this guy is beyond me. Guys that have tools but play well once in a blue moon are not guys you build around. f***ing Chad Kilger all over again.

Dvorak is garbage. Gallagher is done. Tank tank tank le'ts go!

Go back and look at the OP I was always for the tank if it was gonna happen organically. If the team starts winning again I'll switch back to playoff mode. I just go with the flow there's no point in fighting against the current. I'll never cheer against the team, but if I'm in tank mode I'll be content after losses. It's much more fun to be winning games though.

Can we stop with the tank shit? Plus there already a thread. I’m not saying they’re going to make the playoffs it’s just kind of pathetic to see fans cheer for their team to lose even if it can POTENTIALLY get what better picks? Yay

The OG thread was locked prematurely and this is what caused the current losing streak 100% facts no cap.

If anything you should be overjoyed by this thread because we are providing good karma to remain in the mix. If we make the playoffs, it's because of us. If we get a top 5 pick, it's because of us.

We are running a special operation here, get on board or go back to the Playoffs positivity thread where you can post memes about how great Suzuki's and Caufield's friendship is.

What is our record with and without Guhle these past 3 seasons? I suspect we would also be beyond terrible without Suzuki but hopefully we don't get to test that theory anytime soon. Looks like Hutson is either fatigued, injured or both but he hasn't been the same for a while which coincides with the team not looking good.

Three pillars of the this team: Suzuki, Hutson, Guhle.

We're adding Demidov next year so perhaps with a 4th pillar on the team we can survive for stretches when one goes down.
 
I was happy when they were winning because it's such a lousy year to lose. There's not 1 guy that I'd be ecstatic drafting to be honest. That's why "go for it if you can". Why anyone would want to tank is beyond me, where's the reward. This is a bad draft. Like really bad.
 
We had a nice little playoffs push and feel rejuvenated. Maybe there is actual potential. But now it's time to embrace the tank. Habs are back being pathetic and for the rest of the schedule it's important to forget how to swim and sink like a rock!

Same here. I prefer wins but if we’re going to continue sinking and end up selling, I’d be fine.

We do have to be realistic though. Guhle is gone, Heinemen has been out for a while, Evans’ shooting is regressing to the mean and the team hasn’t been playing well, or at least consistently. We’d have to go on a ridiculous run again after the 4NFO to have a chance. This current skid has really hurt.
 
Hughes and Gorton are like... Sorry guys. Sell time. You showed how you can get into the mix but you also showed how you can get out of the mix just as quickly.

Buffalo is starting to play well. 6 points is not crazy. We could finish bottom 5 at this pace. Wow what a change from mid-January.
