Final thoughts from the Shakeup:
Roman to Smackdown was good. It needed to happen. Every single feud he has had on Raw for the last year has failed to gather any real heat. Trying him against some different guys could really help his character. That said...
Having Vince vs Roman is not going to work. At all. I guess WWE saw that angle as working with regards to Kofi and now think that it will work for Roman. It won't. You have to add something to his character, everyone just wants the current Roman to go away.
I think WWE want to make Smackdown/Raw more distinct than they were previously. They loaded Raw with tag teams as well as Men's faces (so get ready for lots of Baron Corbin guys) and loaded the womens division on Smackdown. I'm not 100% against this, your womens roster is not as deep, so showcase it on your shorter show.
Pretty apparent to me that WWE wanted a major tag team shakeup as well. A lot of the existing teams got broken up, and I get the sense that they want to reset that division in general.
Elias to Smackdown is a bad move. When you have a two hour show, having an Elias filler segment doesn't really work for me. On Raw you can put him out there halfway thorough the show and get the crowd going again. Not a fan.
