And no Prince Pretty. Should have been in Owens' spot, who doesn't need the rub. But why build someone up when you can bring in the VIKING EXPERIENCE?

I'm hoping he's going to go back down to NXT (I would hope on a good contract) to be properly booked, and built back up.

H has already done a fantastic job with him, with the very good match against Ricochet a while back, and then very recently with his match against Strong at the worlds collide event.

Wonder why they split Liv away from Ruby and Sarah. Sarah I can understand sticking around on Raw since her hubby (the VIKING) is already there, but why not shift Ruby and Liv over to Smackdown?

Does Riott Squad continue as a two-girl tag now?

It doesn’t matter if they do because it doesn’t matter to Vince.

Liv Morgan is a hot blonde. She's getting a singles push.

Well that's what we thought about Carmella, only then she dropped the title and went brunette.

Now she's part of a comedy duo.

I'd like to see Liv get SOME kind of push.....feels like it's been a while since she won a match. More of a punching bag recently (or kicking bag, going back to Botch Mode).

As for Ruby and Sarah, who knows what to expect with those two. With Nia and Tamina likely out of the picture and Sasha/Bayley split up, maybe they'll get a run at the Iiconics.

I mean, Mella's push was way, way, way beyond what she deserved.

I'm not 100% against her, but she's a midcarder.

No. Sarah Logan is almost certainly joining THE VIKING EXPERIENCE, and Ruby Riott will go solo, which honestly, should help her.

Liv Morgan will probably barely be seen

Final thoughts from the Shakeup:

Roman to Smackdown was good. It needed to happen. Every single feud he has had on Raw for the last year has failed to gather any real heat. Trying him against some different guys could really help his character. That said...

Having Vince vs Roman is not going to work. At all. I guess WWE saw that angle as working with regards to Kofi and now think that it will work for Roman. It won't. You have to add something to his character, everyone just wants the current Roman to go away.

I think WWE want to make Smackdown/Raw more distinct than they were previously. They loaded Raw with tag teams as well as Men's faces (so get ready for lots of Baron Corbin guys) and loaded the womens division on Smackdown. I'm not 100% against this, your womens roster is not as deep, so showcase it on your shorter show.

Pretty apparent to me that WWE wanted a major tag team shakeup as well. A lot of the existing teams got broken up, and I get the sense that they want to reset that division in general.

Elias to Smackdown is a bad move. When you have a two hour show, having an Elias filler segment doesn't really work for me. On Raw you can put him out there halfway thorough the show and get the crowd going again. Not a fan.

If The Bar is among those teams that got axed, as per Vince's wishes of course, then hopefully we see a Cesaro singles push in the near future. He's earned it.

The women have not been a draw for ratings so I don’t think loading Smackdown will move the needle, but loading it does tell me that the women’s tag titles stay there. And tag teams on Raw have been booked like crap, I’m sure that will continue.

I totally agree on Elias. I'm so sick of his gimmick. He never wrestles and nothing ever comes out of his segments so what's the point. His segment is a rerun every week with a new person who interrupts him for no reason.

It's not bad for the longer shows on Raw when you've been sitting in your seat for over two hours and the crowd might be getting tired. On Smackdown it doesn't really work. Idk. Maybe they plan on actually letting him wrestle, which is the worst possible outcome.

They've learned his limits. He is only good until the match starts.

I'll admit it did make for a nice change of pace on WM but overall it's pointless garbage. I know it doesn't sound like it, by i actually really like Elias. I just hate when they overdo things and his "concerts" need to lead to something for me to continue to care.

(dumb story from SD! that probably happens at every damn arena: they do this contest with kids during breaks. they have to answer the wrestler names when they say their nicknames..... the kid was doing very well, as its super easy, but when they asked for "Best in the world" the arena exploded with CM punk chants and the kid was very f***ing confused and lost lolllll)

Post Wrestling brought up a great continuity point. Why is Vince pissed off that Roman showed up on Smackdown? Is he not the one deciding who goes where if it's not Shane or Stephanie?

It's almost as if he's expecting us to believe he REALLY thought Elias was the "biggest signing in Smackdown history" or whatever he called it, and that Roman just showed up unannounced.

Vince seems to be losing more marbles by the day.

You just know where this is going towards... McMahon vs McMahon(s), or plot twist, Vince vs HHH!!!!!!!!!
