The 3rd period was such a disaster for Slovakia. You can seldom see a team this mentally fragile. I am convinced this was mainly the choaching staff's fault. Especially considering it was a junior hockey.

I was just asking for multiple goals and good effort... boy I got my moneys worth. Team showed that little bit of confidence and goaltending goes a loooong way.

Slovakia gave them a chance. Same mistakes as against our team. In the 3rd period they (KAZ) felt blood and went for it. Czechs and Swedes sniped some goals and they resigned, but never underestimate underdogs. And how self confidence is important. Who knows how this match would have ended without that major penalty. What Dej said to him? Probably something really nasty, indeed. I really don´t understand how Slovakia players could dare to say they were better in the match against Czechia after that meat grind, especially in the 2nd, when Czechs forced them to play handball. What will they say today? Respect to Kazakhstan players, 2 shorthanded goals, just wow.
