The difference is so little between a kick and not. Enzo Corvi in the Spengler, he opened up his blade and directed it top shelf.

Here the player shifts his toe.. nicely i might add, and it's no goal.

The puck was moving in the direction of the pads of the goalie and then bounced off of the pads and onto the skate. This sort of implies the kicking motion could not possibly be intentional, but yeah, a close one.
