One lineup change for Slovakia tonight apart from the change in goal. Oleksiy Myklukha returns for Slovakia. Oleksij will replace Artur Turanský (healthy scratch). Oleksiy Myklukha began the tournament between Chromiak and Slafkovsky, but now will play LW with Sojka and Jedlicka. I like this, Kaslik was good where he was versus Canada, and I think Oleksiy Myklukha will add something to the third line.

Feels like WJC is getting more popular here in Germany. At least between hockey fans. I saw a lot of posts in forums and on fb were they said, they would set an alarm to 3.30 AM.

My alarm is set as well :)

Magenta showing the games really helps a lot in that regard

Gahr doesn't give up any bad goals? That's quite the statement, considering his last game:laugh:
Probably meant Bugl but I don't know...is Bugl really any better? We'll see...

His stats are better. Dont know if thats something worth. I cant assess the differnce of quality between those 2 leagues.

We are still only going with 14 skaters but Bugl will be in goal. Really don't know how we could beat the slovakians considering there really good showings in the first two games. Hoping for a win for our guys though

Which TV broadcasts WJC in Germany?

An online streaming service called Magenta Sport which is owned by the German Telekom. They also have the rights for the DEL. It's free if you are a Telekom customer, otherwise its like 10 Euros a month I think

You're right. BUT: WJC is free for all :)

Why still only 14 skaters?

Chromiak & Myklukha would be good together. I could see this becoming an impromptu line like the Americans did against Russia

Whenever I see Posts during the NHL Season of North American members complaining of start times for games I remind myself of Posts like this.

Fans from around the globe are amazing in how dedicated they are. It’s so easy to forget that Members are Posting here in the middle of the night with us.

Much respect to all of you.

Alright, let’s do this. Bit of a downer to still only field 14 skaters, but somewhat understandable given that the 3 guys probably had no training in the past 3 weeks

Awesome stuff to hear. Great to see the sport growing in Germany. I really hope soon enough they become a regular in the World Juniors and are up to stay for good.

Unless this Bugl guy is on Wraneschitz level, we can probably expect another blowout. Playing with 14 skaters for the 3rd time in a row is rough:help:

I would draft Jellus for no other reason than the fact that he never loses faceoffs.
