I always found it super questionable, since he had a such a size advantage in juniors, and it might have been a bigger factor than what the Kings thought, but still you can't draw any conclusions yet ofcourse.
they can just sit back and relax then. Happy with one point. Still only 14 skaters dressed so I’m freaking amazed right now.

I too must tip my hat to all the European fans watching at a crazy time in Europe. Glad this game at least is so far making it worth it for you guys to stay up late/wake up early.

Quite good, was forcing plays a little bit early on but has really settled in and started using his feet more to create time and space.

Finns are as fanatical as we are about hockey. I’m a grown man and I’ll always have a pure childlike zeal and love for this sport. Hockey is life in the winter.
Spent 3 hours on the outdoor rink before coming home to catch the end of the 1st plus the 2nd and 3rd period of this game.
Was pissed Broberg wasn’t playing against the Austrians so went for an outdoor game instead lol nothing like a good game of shinny in the end of December. Really helps my mental health with the dark nights we get in the northern hemisphere at this time.

Jagr needs one more goal for the hatrick. Trying to think of the last Slovak to have one at the World Juniors. Might be Richard Panik's four goal game.
Also for you Rammstein lovers i highly suggest you go listen to some of Ruoska, it's basically Finlands version of Rammstein they have some good ones.

Man i miss playing in outdoor rinks here.. We used to have good long winters every year but since i'm from the southern coast we barely get any snow here in the winters that last long enough
there might be some winter here and there when it's decent but it's not often sadly

OT hockey is one of *the best* things in any sport. I’m sure Team Germany won’t mind continuing the game for our entertainment.
By the way, did anyone notice than whenever they show Stütztle on the bench he basically looks like this?

Jealous. Not a lot of outdoor rinks here in NC, and with covid ice time in general is tough to come by.
I'm left with skating on blades in my basement.

Too bad man, it’s good to see the kids out playing too. Like these lockdowns are hard on them.
Can you get access to some indoor ice? Not sure what the Covid rules are in NC right now.
Those kids love to play and compete hard out there playing shinny with the men in the neighbourhood. Keeps me in good shape when you spend hours and hours out there.
One of the moms even brought out some dinner for her son probably 15 years old or so because he refused to leave. That’s what it’s all about, kids braving the temperature and wanting to compete. Makes them better people when they become adult members of society.
It’s just a pure love of the game, all my worries tend to go away when I’m on the ice.

I'm the same way. Used to love going our playing on the public outdoor rinks when I was in college. Would spend all day there on weekends until my legs would lock up.
There's some private ice that people have rented out but league play is completely out. My Dad lives with me too and he is high risk so I'm pretty much on lock down anyways.
