Should be 9-0 Canada.Same, I think there's gonna be a big pop of egos when the boys realize they actually have to play competitive hockey.

Speaking of hits in CAN vs SVK games this two hits by Slovak defenceman Hrasko always cross my mind. It begins at 0:46.

I missed that I just assumed Hollaway would be 13th.. not dressed may have a minor ailment ?Wait why are we only dressing 19 skaters, each team is allowed to dress 20, we dressed 20 last game. You only need to scratch 2 skaters, the Schneider suspension and Dach injury would suffice

Yeah, that’s strange. If anyone should sit it should be Byfield. I don’t know why Canada wouldn’t dress the max allowable skaters.
Maybe he’s injured?
An injury is the only thing I can think of. Especially pulling someone off of that line.
Holloway was throwing his weight around pretty good yesterday. Maybe he has a little soreness - especially given how long it’s been since the boys have played a real game - and the coaching staff decided not to push it?
My thoughts as well, he was involved in several big collisions along the boards.
Could just be something small and give him the extra two days rest. Doesn’t make sense considering how well that line played and he was solid defensively usually the first guy back on that line. He’s also the centre on PK1.
Them not dressing the max amount of skaters is what makes me think it’s a minor injury or something.
Maybe he flagged positive for COVID? The tests do have a decent false positive rate.
Nvm, definitely an injury thing.
