Should be a more competitive game, but a 5-1 Canada W at the final buzzer.

Hopefully the two Newfoundland boyz continue to shine and put up pts.

Go Canada Go!

Hopefully, Hlavaj will get to his flow from the first minutes of the game and show some extraordinary performance. Otherwise it will be a walk in the park for Canadians.

That guy is a Sens fan who comes into every Av related thread to dump on them. Probably still upset that some cheered for Sens to suck.
The fact that Byram was taken with that Sens pick probably adds fuel to the fire. He was calling Byram bad defensively all last WJC too even though after game 1 I don’t think he made a single bad defensive play and was on the ice for like 2 goals against all tournament.

Byram sucked with the puck last night and sucked with the puck last year too. He’s way to overconfident and doesn’t make good use of his teammates. These are things he really needs to figure out if he wants to be an impact NHL’er. But he’s a tremendous “defender”.

All the “bad defensively” misconceptions with Byram come from his turnovers which last night were simply horrific.

Yeah, he nneds to trust his teammates more, he plays like he did with the Giants when he doesn't need to. With the Giants if he wasn't playing all over the ice they couldn't score to save their life, here he neeeds to trust his teammates more and fo less on his own.

He definitely needs to use his teammates better. He’s used to doing everything himself in junior.
