Leave it to the north americans to complain at IIHF reffing everytime they lose.North American teams are too bad for this tournament they should get rid of them

Not really. I saw 3 pages of IIHF reffing in this thread.I mean your comment is ironic.
Tyler Boucher Team USA, Adam Gajan Team SlovakiaDo we know who the players of the game were? TSN cut away before the presentations.
Just curious.

It's not that rare. This was our 5th win against them. Last one was in 2017. Then 2 losses in 2018 and 2021 and now this win.I mean these kind of wins come like once ever 10-20 years at this level. Well deserved celebration. Hopefully the tournament is in the process of progressing where it won't be as much of a surprise though.
Baco for sure!Do we know who the players of the game were? TSN cut away before the presentations.
Just curious.
Such a gracious winner lol…..good game, we sucked pretty badly. Not really. I saw 3 pages of IIHF reffing in this thread.
Suck it USA, you lost!
Loser mentalitybeating the US is more rare for us than it is for the US to win gold. It is totally appropriate
Enjoy the ride not just end resultLoser mentality
There are plenty of factors that when combined have led to our hockey development improving, but EU has not been one of them.I think the EU has really helped a lot in that regard.
Indirectly yes, because Slovakia is better off economically as part of the EU.There are plenty of factors that when combined have led to our hockey development improving, but EU has not been one of them.
Good to see Slovakia is rounding the corner as a hockey nation. They are definitely getting a lot better the past few years. I think the EU has really helped a lot in that regard. Really has lifted the rising tide of all these Eastern European nations.
Historically we played our best hockey in the 90s when we were not part of the EU. Again, it has nothing to do with it. If anything, hockey is heavily underfunded in relative terms now than it was back then.Indirectly yes, because Slovakia is better off economically as part of the EU.
