Slafkovsky production 2024/25 - prediction?

As we speak, Slafzilla is at:

GP - 13 (of 16)
G - 1
A - 10
PTS - 11

Let's assume the big galoot doesn't miss any more games. That would give him 79 games played by the end of the season. And if we extrapolate his current production to 79 games, we get:

GP - 79
G - 6
A - 61
PTS - 67

Now, I don't believe he'll keep up his assists pace. Nor do I think he'll score at this low clip of 1 goal through 13 games. I think based on what we saw last year, what he's capable of, I'd be comfortable predicting his final totals for this season as:

GP - 79
G - 18
A - 51
PTS - 69

So yeah, I think he'll make a nice leap this season, from 50 to 69ish points. And then, starting next year, when more pieces of the Habs puzzle begin to come into place, we'll see Slaf as a 70-80 point man every single year - good for 25 goals and 55 assists a year, give or take.

I don't see 69 points if he doesn't.
If however they pick up a pace similar to last season he can hit 70 plus.
Slaf has 11 points playing like crap most games that tells me he's a point producer.

His point production is on pace but his goal scored is not what I expected. I was hoping for 20 this season at least. But he will take off once we get to be a good team. It will come together

Slafkovsky statistics don't lie. Slafkovsky performs satisfactory. The Slovak Slafkovsky will score 60+ or 80+.

Around 60-65 points would be a solid progression from last year considering the state of the team to start.

if Juraj can find his groove back he should be a lock for 70+. Kid is too good when his feet are moving. He can dish the puck on a Tee to players with a brain like Suzuki if they open up.

One or two greasy goal and he should be back to shooting more often too. He likes the game too much, he'll be back to prime Slaf in no time.

If the new Suzuki line gets going for a few weeks, 60+ points definitely isn't impossible for the big guy. He has a knack for distributing the puck and he can get a lot of points that way on a hot line.

He has always been very self-aware of what he can do and isn't doing. His problems were mental more than anything. And if the switch stay flipped now, he should start to score, his sh% is very low.

I'm not questioning his skill, but he looks reluctant to shoot and when he does it's way off compared to last year. For the record, he is not a Kucherov, Mackinnon or Draisaitl, please stop using their stats as a reference lol.

LeClair was like this early on. He was not shooting. Then in his mid 20ies he started to shot. Slaf has not reached 100% of his physical maturity yet. He'll be much stronger in 5 years and his shot when he'll put all his weight on it will be much more dangerous in 5 years so he'll likely use it more as a result
