Can't wait to see him play with Dach next year. The two of them together will be fun to watch and very hard to play against.

We've got a very special player on and off the ice with Juraj. He was made for Montreal.

Why wouldn’t they keep him with Caufield and Suzuki the way things are going?

Because with Dach's return, they will have the luxury of rolling two offensive lines, and also Dach and Slaf did showed great chemistry in preseason and start of the year.

You might be also right, doesn't mean we have to break up a good line chemistry but I think you need to explore the option of integrating Dach with Slaf, whether it's with Suzuki or not. Dach's upside is higher than Suzuki, I think we can have a great duo with Slaf.

I would have disagreed even if injuries didn't derail his career. There is no way Dach's upside is higher than Suzuki. He's only 1 year and a half younger and has never even had 40 pts in a season. Suzuki could flirt with the 80 pts mark this season and has never missed a game in his NHL career.

Draft year junior PPG: 1.48 for Suzuki, 1.18 for Dach.

This dude, with his frame and his weird body was always going to be a project.
It's so modern social-media era hockey that a guy drafted two years ago, who isn't even 20, that has a massive frame but hasn't filled out yet would take a minute to develop.

Byfield took 4 years to get to where he's at. Big guys take longer; it's been proven time and time again in the NHL and yet we jump to bust.
