First ten games he looked lost. He’s improved dramatically ever since. For the next twenty or so games he played really well but just didn’t get the points. Now they’re coming in bunches.

For a player with so many question marks early on, he’s done so well. Great year for him.

Maybe in his homeland, (being the first ever Slovak to go #1 in a draft, olympic hero etc) but far too soon over here.

That said, he looks like he has a promising NHL career in front of him.

Seems like the habs may have finally got it right at the draft table, his growth has been outstanding.

We're excited to have him, he's a treat to watch.

That's eight goals in 12 games for Juraj Slafkovský since Jan. 15. As of right now, only Marchessault, Matthews, Eriksson Ek, MacKinnon and Pastrnak have more in the NHL over that span.

Slafkovsky now has 21 points in his last 23 games (since the week before Christmas).75 point pace (36G, 39A pace) for the 19 year old through that span.

Regardless if he can keep it up, that's damn impressive.
