Slaf or Hutson- Who Will Have More Career Points?

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Just for the fun of it, i'm gonna spice things up a bit.

We're lucky to have drafted these two players in 2022. They're going to be extremely important players for us going forward and they're both at the start of their NHL careers.

Simple question, who do you think will have more total points at the end of their career?

It all depends on who's going to be injured the most as I think their production will be close enough as soon as next year. Slaf has the advantage of having started earlier, so I picked him

It's an interesting question, that's for sure. I think Hutson, cause he'll be able to play 20 years with his size/game. He'll be able to maintain his quickness/read of the game until late in his career. He'll always have a place, even as a pp specialist in his later years. I assume Salf will slow down when he hits 30, as many players of his size/style do at that point. So Hutson will rack up points for more years than Slaf, and probably at a similar pace.

Hutson has luxury of being pp1QB but Slaf has been playing with top line so both getting put in good situations. Should have similar numbers actually with ppg during peak years.

Slaf will have the better peak in terms of points, but Hutson will be good for longer, so he will end up with more career pts.

Slaf will have a tough time to get pp1 time when habs get demidov over and sign a big fish like a Marner or lo and behold mcdavid (let me dream please 😉)
So hutson and he's more dynamic
