Post-Game Talk: Skinner with another spectacular Game 4 win

Apparantly, in their own arrogant way, M and M imitated they were above Hyman and really never spoke of how valuable or how much he meant to the team.
Said it when he joined the Oilers the leafs are gonna kick themselves for years to come. Kept the soft uninterested guys and let the warrior leave. Not only that but missed out on a free pick by not trading us his rights 😂

Went to dallas stars reddit, they are all claiming they lost because of bad officiating.
The ABC broadcast crew really leaned in hard about the missed puck over the glass penalty being a critical moment that led to the Stars being down 0-2. They referred to that moment repeatedly while also not mentioning the missed Robertson trip and when Rantanen high-sticked himself (beyond when those incidents happened). They obviously crafted a narrative that Stars fans bought.

I knew he was good, but when you think about it, this is the guy who's the upgrade from Desharnais last year. It's like they play different sports. And I loved Vinny.

Oooo… is that Picard’s mask? Make it so!

lol it was already pointed out earlier

That's a ton of work just to avoid saying "Stu was good yesterday." Did 1 guy have a good game or do 18 guys forget how to shoot the puck whenever they play the Oilers?

Not going to get bent out of shape arguing this one though, way better stuff to discuss about the series without getting caught up in other people's personal vendettas. Enjoy the playoff run.

From the post that this was a direct reply to:

Skinner played well, but Dallas can't score to save their playoff lives. Thats always been their story. Both things are true. Indeed Dallas got Rantanen at all due to their desperation trying to find a level of player that would be able to produce in playoffs.

Pretty sure those two statements mean exactly the same thing, ding dong.

It's easy to overlook anyone on a McDavid/Draisaitl team, but Nuge is a polished, high-level player in every situation.

It's interesting to think how good any former Oiler team would have been with a '25 Nuge on it. Would a '25 Nuge have propelled the '06 team over the top?
Yes

Dallas scored their one goal on the same shift that one of their players committed a major penalty that wasn't called.

Wonder how many ignore lists you're on at this point. Clearly not enough.

His posts are a lot more tolerable if you have an appreciation for cringe comedy. I'm a big fan of stuff like the British version of The Office so he's actually one of my favorite posters. I mean obviously he's not trying to be funny...

pK has been against the oil every series I am pretty sure. Another talking head who doesn’t know what he is talking about most times.
2 guys I have no use for when they talk hockey is Biz and PK.
Good friend of mine was play by play man for Habs on TSN 690. He said PK was good to deal with on interviews until the time they did not name him Team Captain. Then he wouldnt speak to anyone for months

And the head hit that may have taken out Brown...

^^^ that's pretty much anywhere on the internet now. Just came from the mains where they have decided that US is now better at hockey than Canada because of that yearly international tournament they do with the players from the non-playoff teams

Yawn. They were chest pumping themselves after the first game of the four nations playoffs as well. Calling themselves the new kings of hockey and how if was the greatest sport ever. That lasted about two days before reality kicked in and they once again became our bitch.

You're positive? When?

Just for chuckles, I opened up his profile to see if you were wrong about this too. You are.

These are his two previous posts before the one you replied to:

They've all more than earned it.

Sounds pretty positive to me...

Any updates on how bad Brown is hurt? Hoping he doesn't miss too much time and only a game, although I'm worried he is badly concussed
