HuGo knew when they drafted him that they would not be able to control his development and deployment this season. They obviously didn’t care enough so as to not take him. It is what it is.When you are the team's 3rd leading scorer and are getting 4 minutes of ice time, it's no longer about winning, it's about not using players who don't want to play in the KHL beyond their contract. This season will fly by. What I would like to see is SKA not making the playoffs and Demidov tearing up the VHL.
