There is an addon for Xenforo that extends the likes called Post ratings. It might be too much for HFBoards members to handle.

I'm just letting you know there is a tool to accomplish what you want.

One Xenforo install I know has a rating called Drama Queen.

You can imagine the shitshow that would cause here.

Positive ratings could work here like:

Like
Agree
Genius
Informative

Or some neutral ones like:

Meh
Hmmm.
Disagree

What is up with the massive lag on this site? I know it's just here because I don't experience typing issues, or load issues on other forums and it happened just as this this insane C-7....... long gibberynonense appeared in my load screen when i refresh. Is this the same thing (i'm assuming ads and other underlying stuff the other place had with T-tublera....gibbering nonsense chain they had).

Is there a way to clean it up? I don't think it should take forever for me to load a page and then respond.

Yeah the lag has been absolutely brutal the last few days. It is an absolute pain to follow a GDT with that much lag. Hopefully that isn't just the way the site runs now.

I can't say I've noticed much of a lag from the norm for this site on this desktop. As for any quirks that pop up, I'd probably first suggest clearing your browser's cache and cookies (detailed how here) and then restarting your browser. It could simply be something in your cache conflicting as the site's modified.

Site is better. Only complaint is mobile use and getting to the last page of a thread. The number button enlarged or a last page link added. On the old mobile I would click the name of the last poster to get to the most recent post. That was a nice feature.

Looks like less bright white which was very important. Performance is a tad slower but more is going on under the hood.

Now you click on the grey text timestamp (e.g., x minutes ago) and that'll take you to the newest post.

Here's my color scheme that I seem to have adjusted to pretty well. It's must be not so bad, cause, I have much trouble with visual concentration, and, all of the white space was very very difficult for me. So, here's my new look:

I am totally OK using the new site on my desktop computer. However, my cell phone browsing experience became much worse and less enjoyable than before ( I used the mobile version in the past). Mostly that is because it takes more time now to load all the info and adds I assume. I find that while click on a certain link, the page is still keeps loading and changing the link position, so in many cases I end up on a different page from the one I intended to, and have to go back and redo. It is very annoying to wait until every page loads FULLY every time and the flow of surfing the site is lost.
The only feature I miss from the old site is the "Ignore Thread" one. Otherwise the change is not bad when using a computer at least.
