The upgrade to xenforo 2 is great.

But why this site cheaps out on a Style is beyond me.

It hasn't worked ever. And the authour was banned from Xenforo for good reason.

Here is another style flaw.

Did the migration ever get completed ?

MSG me if you'd like the names of some Xenforo experts from xenforo.com. Alternatively, the HFB admins can ask for expert help in the Xenforo forums and ask who people recommend.

This site consistently has problems with Website administration of Xenforo and some cheap and effective consulting with experts will go a long way.

I get new crashes now.
these don’t appear, the whole pages reloads and you lose what you’ve typed.

this site is mismanaged.

The admins obviously need help.

We will begin migrating and updating the software at approximately 11 AM ET Wednesday 11-11-2021 The site will remain up but content posted after that time will not be migrated to the new site. The migration and update could take up to 24 hours. We are not anticipating downtime. Search will have to be indexed on the new platform so it's not going to work properly for at least a day. Addons like Sportsbook, Media Gallery, and Articles will take some time to be fully configured but will be functional. The new server cluster provides the resources we need to avoid disruptions with heavy traffic. There will be a new bookmark system, but existing ones will not be carried over. If you want to keep them you need copy them. Light and dark styles will be provided. Emojis and push notifications will be supported and we expect to add a progressive web app. As always there will be some suffering.

The site is borderline unusable on my phone. It’s an iPhone 12 There are ads blocking the posts. Sometimes the page randomly reloads and I lose everything I’ve typed l. I’m also currently blindly typing right now, the reply box scrolls upward past my view after I start typing

This is arguably the worst built website relative to the amount of traffic it gets on the internet. Every part of the user experience is obnoxiously terrible.

Pay the 12 bucks a year to be a sponsor and you don't need to worry about ads. As a sponsor, I don't think I've had any issues using the site on an iPhone other than the issues that one has doing anything from a phone.

I can vouch for the Brave browser. I used to have a ton of issues on HFB with other browsers on my phone, but Brave has been really smooth and nearly flawless. The only issue I found is if you're spamming backspace to move words up in a long message, a few letters can get mixed up a bit. Very minor, though.

I use Brave for everything now. Highly recommend.

This happens constantly on mobile, and is absolutely brutal. I lose easily half the comments I try to post. It’s making the site borderline unusable.

I’m a software developer myself, and this is probably the worst bug I’ve seen go unfixed on a popular site for so long.
