If they can get into the 1st WC spot, they could beat the Islanders.

That does look pretty sweet. We obviously lack the firepower of Tampa Bay, but with a strong defensive unit (and a hot goalie), we could do some damage. After all, we don't make it often, but when we do we GO DEEP.

Maybe Vladislav Namestnikov to Canes for a 2nd pick in 2019 or 2020? He played with Stamkos line and was productive with 44 pts, but he struggle in the bottom 6 for us Rangers?

Jeff Gorton need to move players and that is certain in this TDL.

Ideally they'd buy a 2nd line center or a RW if they want to try TT in that spot. They may want to solidify their goaltending for next year if they don't feel Mrazek has stepped up as a starter. They need to ship out a RD and if they ship out Ferland may need a replacement there.
