Should goals off skates count? Tristan Jarry doesn’t think so.

“there are already so many different ways to score on me, bouncing it off another guy? that’s bullshit, come at me like a man and shoot high glove side…one on one”

There was a time when pucks that deflected off of skates weren't allowed to be goals.
And the rule was changed, thank goodness

Up until '92 you could score a goal by kicking the puck off of the goalie or another skater,. Jarry would stroke out of that was still legal.

WTH is he going on about? While we're at it, let's also disallow any goals that unintentionally deflect off sticks or any body part. Only clean goals allowed.
What he is really going for is "only goals that our team scores - no matter how - should count.

Incredibly terrible take and attitude.

Nonsensical, no idea what he's blabbering about. Pens have scored off skate deflections many times over the years.
