He has an untouched contract extension that he can sit on. No rush to get back IMO.Thanks for all the respect in the handshake line.
He'll need to change his system to be more off the rush based in the future if he truly wants playoff success.
I assume he'll be in Pittsburgh as the AHL coach by next week
So i guess u think on 9th may somebody trades for marner or tavares? Are u in kindergarden cause this is a kid's postMLSE: "See! We're making changes!"
*Runs back same core players for the 9th year in a row under a third head coach.
Bare minimum level of change has been achieved.
NAH, reality is Tree lived through this in Calgary. Won't let another Johnny Gaudreau situation happen. This organization is always years late on their moves. Keefe should have been fired after the Montreal series, but they are several years late on this firing.
Now the next "assessment" the clowns in upper management are gonna come to is that the core "needs" another chance with another coach. If we fired Keefe when we should have, this "chance" should have already happened. If that does end up happening, my interest in next season is almost already cooked.

Not necessarily, a coach with an abrasive personality might set a different tone in the room.Means little if the man making decisions is still the same
You don't think the Coach was the Coach?Means little if the man making decisions is still the same

agree and he shoulda never been hired in the first placeThis organization is always years late on their moves. Keefe should have been fired after the Montreal series, but they are several years late on this firing.
