Clearly everyone who wants to give him a shot has not watched him defend in his own zone.

The number one role of defenseman is in the name. DEFENSE. He is terrible at defending.

I could see a non playoff team giving him a go as a cheap 7/8/9 dman, but this kid would get absolutely eaten alive in the playoffs.

He did try hard when playing for the Sharks, and I don't think Sharks fans would have anything bad to say about him other than his play.

He’ll find some interest around the league. In fact, I’d wager he gets a 1-way deal somewhere. May not end up playing in the NHL this season, but teams will sniff around him. Especially if they lack some overall pick movement.

SJ wasted a player here. Just sign him and move on. Instead they are going to lose him to another team who will overpaid.They probably get 2nd or 3rd rounder return.

Addison has entered Kale Clague territory. No one is giving up that for a guy who has shown himself to be nothing special.

Yep goes to show how looking good in juniors/WJC doesn't mean anything. Also goes to show how hard it is for smaller offensive defensive to really be impactful in the NHL.
