You guys are rough. You know that defense is not the Sharks problem right now, right? Murrays slow, but he is a load. Most teams woukld love to have him. How about Pavelski scores somtime this month? How about the PP?

The slowness is a problem because he is always out of position. Also, he has made some terrible outlet passes that have resulted in turnovers and cost the team goals.

Pavelski is not scoring goals but he is not making mistakes either.

Yup offense is the biggest issue..Demers could help that but who knows.

This post makes sense, which is why I don't think it's the case.

Then **** this team up the ass.

Murray was on for 19 Corsi events against last game, in 11 minutes. Eleven. Minutes. Playing against Patrick Bordeleau, Chuck Kobasew, and Aaron Palushaj. Let that sink in for a moment. He really is that bad.

I do agree that Pavelski needs to step up offensively. He's been a passenger with Thornton and Marleau and whoever else he's been playing with. But the difference is that Pavs is great defensively, so at least he's not a liability.

Actually Pavelski has made mistakes. The whole team has. Pavs looks a step behind the play and hasn't been very good.

Oh he definitely has. But nothing has stood out. Has not has the puck stolen from him right in front of the goal or made a terrible outlet pass which resulted in goals.

Pavelski has been far from what I (and most of us) expect of him. But Murray has been downright awful. Plus he is keeping Demers off the ice which ironically is the kind of player we need to help with the transition game. He started the season injured and had not been given a fair chance to get himself in the game.

I find it even more interesting that they would rather play Irwin than Demers.

The worst was Pavs losing Berglund in front of the goal. Never seen that from him. I think they play Irwin because hes "safer" than Demers. DW loves Demers..TMac does not..once again these two not on the same page.

I'm not meaning to bag on Pavelski, but one play that stood out to me was vs Chicago when Hossa was flatfooted and a couple meters behind Pavelski at the hawks blue line, and ended up a step ahead of him at the top of the Sharks circles. Even though they didn't score, it was amazing to see in real time to me.

It's that one moment that sticks in my mind that tells me: This team is simply too slow. Both in skaters and in system.

Pavelski is going through a rough stretch, I'm noticing him on the ice in a bad way which is unfamiliar and concerning territory.
