Boyle only went like twice. I haven't seen Havlat or Couture attempt a shoot-out yet.

Marleau and Clowe have been rare this season so they represent a rotation.

this is getting really tiring really fast. when is DW going to do something? were they waiting for February to end? whats the matter with him? it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that this team needs to be altered. waiting and hoping that the offence will magically appear after this long is ridiculous... its not a slump, its been 12 games. even if we won this game i think tonight was my breaking point here, im losing it.

DW is sort of stuck because he has team-altering pieces right now that will be back in the lineup again automatically. nothing dw can do will have as much effect on this team as burns coming back, so there's no point to panic buying. its frustrating as **** but that's what we're dealing with. there is a gigantic gaping hole in the lineup when burns is out.

Bright spots: Couture is still awesome. Niemi is playing at a Vezina level.

Please, just get rid of the coach. We have nowhere else to go but up. DW should be replaced in the offseason too. The coaching is the biggest issue, but DW's moves just don't make any sense and he's not helping the team.

Yeah in general. I'd like to see more guys used. Sheppard, Kennedy even Burish. It can't be any worse than Marleau and Boyle. Hell, Demers could probably do as well as Marleau.

Wingels went into the boards very, very hard.

Well I'm glad someone agrees with me. I was saying Thornton was bad in this game and everyone kept looking at me like I was crazy. Yeah I know Thornton likes to pass, but he was slow, carrying the puck too damn much, and failed more than he succeeded. I would be in favor of giving the Captaincy to Couture, but I do think the Captain thing is a little overrated anyway.

The last really good game the Sharks played was the win against Vancouver - one month ago. When your offense has only scored more than two goals (regulation or OT) once in a span of fourteen games...

Thornton never should have been named Captain. I would have given it to Boyle. Of course we dont know what goes on in the Sharks dressing room but Marleau and Thornton have never seemed like good leaders to me.
