Again, and I say this in the most respectful way possible, no one is forcing you to watch it.

But I still watch because I'm a Sharks fan. There's nothing wrong with still being a fan despite the system in place. I'm not not going to watch the Sharks because they are not the most exciting team. Again, I'm a fan of this team and always will be.

Another Sharks game and I'm bored again. Actually have the game turned down and listening to something else. If there's one thing I wish it would be to change coaches just to get a new system in place. I am starting to think the Eastern Conference produces the best hockey.

On coaches chalkboard before this game, McLellan said, and I'm paraphrasing:

Entertaining hockey is not the way to win the NHL anymore. It's not the same game that it was 3 or 4 years ago. Although players don't want to adjust, the way to win is to not go for the flashy plays. You have to teach old dogs new tricks and convince them that the game is played differently now.

I was not very happy with that interview

Good hustle from Marleau tonight. He seems motivated and he's using his speed. Clowe seems more focused than he's been. Gomez seems to playing a pretty good defensive game tonight. Galiardi is working hard. Definitely some positives in the game so far. Not perfect by any means but some things are looking better.

Personally, I think this is a really fun game. Fast-paced, refs are letting them play.

Really? That's interesting in that whenever I watch the Blackhawks, I am entertained and they haven't lost in regulation yet. I wonder, in McLellan's view, what kind of Hockey the Hawks are playing.

God, not only is his system dull as dirt, I think he's lost touch with reality. :shakehead

Yeah, this team is a prime example that boring, horrible, grind it out hockey leads to wins. :sarcasm:

Refs are so confused with how many make up calls they owe both teams that they just said "screw it, lets not call a damn thing"

The effort is there for the Sharks...finish a chance now guys,
