There was no pendulum swing back prior, which is what they look for.

kane's goal wasn't even close to coming back because the boot was facing away from the net. it has to be a punting type motion toward the net. occasionally an instep but it has to be facing the net.

kanes been scoring goals but what i have been most impressed with is his passing game and vision. dude is legit making great hockey sense plays consistently.

The Oilers broadcast kept referring to "Alexander peh-TRO-vich" and it's taken me until this point in the 2nd period to realize that it's Alex Petrovic (Which I always assumed was pronounced "PET-ro-vick")

This is some Pierre McGuire level over-pronunciation.

Also Oil broadcast basically accusing the Petrovic hit of being a dirty between-the-numbers assault.

Apparently you can redirect the puck with your skate but not kick at it. I don't like the rule even though it benefited us this time. Either allow all kicks or none.
