Hamilton Bulldogs free-agent try out Stephen Harper is playing forward this season, and the Sharks have him listed as a forward on the training camp rosters.

Good news bad news roster
  1. Strongest depth at young forwards I've seen in years. The top 12 will be interesting. Guessing we won't have any PTO of old NHL'ers this camp
  2. Defense isn't as deep as forward
  3. Goal is a huge question with none in camp suiting up for 40 games last year.
If we build from the goal out as is the saying, we could be really average - but I'm guessing we are going to be better than average but in for a lot of inconsistency until we can find the right mix of players. Our goalie situation will be defining for us this year.

How did the scrimmages go today?
Has anyone been sent home yet or is everyone staying for the main camp?

So, you are coming over to help me out doing all the other things that need doing around the place so I can write things up faster for you? :sarcasm:

I only saw the first half of U50/rookie scrimmage before going and watching the NHLers.

Starting Friday will be more "single viewing" sequentially. :naughty:

Erik Lindquist is doing a pretty good job of clips and pix on twitter.
