I’m guessing they think Stenberg is a big upgrade on Eklund, and 9th gives us a shot at a quality dman. Could maybe offer 9+27+62 for 6/7 and get Carels or Verhoeff.

I don't think halts and svoboda matter much. Eklund for 9th overall isn't terrible value, though it's definitely a sell low. I wonder if this means we'll be taking stenberg and trying to get a D for 9 and 27. Eklund gets to re-unite with zetterlund though which makes this ok

He obviously didn't see Eklund as a part of the future and really guess he believes Stenberg can be the one. Stings because of the player, but happy he is reunited with Zetts. F*** man, I really hoped it was one of the defencemen.

Edit: The problem is that we are already very much beneath the cap floor, so who are we getting to fill that cap space and someone that actually do something. Imo medium to bad trade.
