He is back practicing with the team starting tomorrow. The SHL has a national team break and the games are back next thursday the 18th. So we all have to be a little patient

speaking of national team, i expect eklund to make the world championship later in may .

That Sommer quote was near the end of the pre-season. Eklund did make the team out of camp. For any young player on an ELC you have to figure there is an evaluation period during his 1st 9 games.

When I talked to him it was him making the team out of camp. I doubt Roy has any say on any personnel issues.

I tried listening to this, this morning, but just like a lot of their recent episodes, I can't get over how clingy some of the takes they make are, and they get more and more homer by the episode.

They are pretty homer, but my real problem is how flip floppy the one host is. Hes like a light switch of "fire Doug Wilson the sharks suck I hate hockey" to suddenly so excited when one little thing goes right.

I think this is Eklund's signature pass and goalies in the NHL will catch up with this unless he learns how to do the wrap-around thing. It's still fun watching him play even though he is not with the Sharks. He is so creative.
