Sharks are No.1 in Wheeler‘s prospect pool ranking. Mack and Mukh don’t count as prospects anymore, the fresh prince still does (haven’t looked into the criteria, but it has me confused)…

Edit: I looked it up and the cut off is „established NHL player“ which is 100% subjective
Haha so the one that has played all but a handful of development day games is still a prospect but the one that over has 15 career nhl games in 2 seasons and has been an AHL pro for 4 years is not counted as a prospect. Yeah makes absolutely zero sense.

I am 100% more confident today of smiths potential then i am of even knowing if Mukh will be even an nhl player.

Mukh might have been cut off because of age. I lost interest

He was.

He explained in the article why Smith was included (eg he kept Benson on the list last year, borderline young guys who are not clearly established).

The article included some quotes, not just Wheeler copy, so that was cool (I posted two to Cherny's prospect thread).

Just like Musty in his D+2, Dickinson won't be ready for NHL next year
But Musty can play in the AHL, no? I read that somewhere.

Granted, perhaps Dickinson won't be AHL ready, but what more can he learn in the CHL? For what it's worth, if I remember correctly, Dobson played in the NHL is D+1 year. Of course, that was when there were rumors of Burns being traded for Dobson, and I was unimpressed with his performance!

Musty will be 20, Dickinson won't be, so no AHL.
