The Sharks only have 3 games to make up during the Olympic break, against Van, Edm, and Ana. But, Van has 5 to make up, Edm has 7, and Ana 4.
Do we think the Sharks will get to make up all those games in this window? And will the Sharks be at an advantage over Edm and Cal because they have so many games to make up in the last stretch?
that's what i'm thinking. Calgary has 9 games to make up! could be a similar situationIt will be really hard for Edmonton the rest of the season. So many games in the time remaining so they'll surely have quite a few 3 games in 4 nights scenarios. McDavid and Draisaitl already play so much .... it could get ugly if they don't turn it around.
Time to blow it up
Awwww. Congrats Radim and wife.
The Sharks are a good team teetering on the cusp of really good. They've also played more games than many clubs around them in the standings. The true test of San Jose's mettle will be staying in the playoff picture once the rest of the league starts catching up to their games played totals.

Writer gives the Sharks a B
This writer (not Greg) is often in charge of doing their power rankings and is generally really poor at that. If she is watching this team and thinking they are on "on the cusp of really good", then they need a new writer. At best this team is on the cusp of good.
Reimer isn't the problem
I disagree. It’s obvious that Logan and Burns are not playing to their peak. Fortunately, Hertl and Meier are holding up the flag.I'm tempted to trade Reimer if he continues like this. He is anti-tanking us but rest of our team is not good enough to be a playoff caliber.
