Not to be rude but the barrier was broken 13 years ago for the commentating. It now just needs more woman to actually want to do it.

Same goes for woman being hockey analysts. There has been one of those since 1998 also.

So the jobs have been there since womans hockey has become world known (1st olympics). So my thought goes to woman just don't want to get into those 2 fields for hockey.

Many teams have a total of one woman on broadcasts.

Women out number men in population, so why isn't it closer to half?

ohhh, yeah. i hate that, he gets flopping and out,of position,
facing the net not the shooter. wtf.

its one thing to get scored on if the shooter beats you,
its another if you are swimming out of the net, flopping like a fish and looking real bad like u cant / arnt trying.

I'm curious to see who comes out since BB says Blichfeld is staying in too. It has to be one of Gambrell or Melker but we're really lacking in center depth at the moment and Melker has a leash a mile long.
