Over the last month Leafs are 1st in scoring chances (both normal and high danger) and top 10 in xGF (not %, but that's been improving too). Should add to that with this practice game.

We still give up too many chances. Clean that up and get above average goaltending and it's looking like some playoff wins incoming.

I like your optimism, but you do realize things tighten up in the playoffs, so these stats don’t translate to playoff hockey. But still a good sign nonetheless

People are looking at this post from a Roberston perspective (and rightfully so) but the biggest news is the McMann quote by far! If Keefe is truly happy with that fit on the 4th line he won't be in a rush to put Reaves back in and can save him for any special occasions he deems necessary or for when guys may need a rest.

Now Ryan can fill his role as a locker room guy without us having to watch the horror on ice.

People are looking at this post from a Roberston perspective (and rightfully so) but the biggest news is the McMann quote by far! If Keefe is truly happy with that fit on the 4th line he won't be in a rush to put Reaves back in and can save him for any special occasions he deems necessary or for when guys may need a rest.

Now Ryan can fill his role as a locker room guy without us having to watch the horror on ice.

He could put McMann om 3rd line and 75 on 4th line to make us the heaviest we can be.

It's not just the raw totals, it is visually as well. I can't recall many "Magic Mitch" moments this season, if anything a lot more of him throwing pucks into places hoping it connects. He seems to be over thinking or not thinking at all far too much.

Really ? He scored a hat-trick wearing the dome over his face. Scored that between the legs goal against Columbus. Had some nice assists this year too. I think he still has alot to give but he hasn't been horrible.
