2 seasons with both teams but they were productive. You just don't think of him primarily with either team.

I honestly just never expect it to work out all the time. Opponents also exist, they also get paid. the young players are still young and inexperienced.

I forgot all about goalie Backstrom.

He was a good goalie for a while there. He broke into the NHL/North America when he was a little bit older.

I feel like he couldve left couple years earlier. He was dominant the last couple years here. Rinne was his backup at the time and left early for AHL cause he was not getting enough playing time cause Bäckström was so good. Probably best goalie outside NHL at the time especially seeing how good he was as soon as he got to NA.

It was kinda sad to watch him and Kiprusoff both waste their prime years in average teams. By the time Wild tried to really get competitive, his best days were behind him. And Flames.. well thats another story.

Yes . Some teams game plan that against us and it usually gives us trouble . Bruins have always done that and we get caved in . Seems like we are a little better suited to handle that this year though
