If you go back and watch the earlier scrum with Heatley and Vlasic, Heatley was very upset because TJ Galiardi was jabbing him in the buttocks while he was down on the ice. Heatley didn't realize that it was Gali who was doing that and started screaming at Pickles. That upset Pickles very much and it just escalated from there.

I like how Antti Niemi didn't just skate away from the scrum in front of him, but he made sure to take the puck with him

Yeah I saw that, good stuff
That's a very niemi move

From what I saw, it wasn't the slash that hurt Heatley, it was the fall at the end.

I don't know, he looked like he was in pain before falling. He certainly wasn't putting all he could into that yankfest with Vlasic. Heater may not be strong on his skates but he can hold his own against Vlasic but he didn't seem all there at that time.

I do love seeing the growth in Vlasic from his very first season. He was smart, but soft as a marshmallow.

Today, he has gained a lot of strength and is a Grade-A *******. I love it.

His eyeballs are ready.

Freakin' exophthalmos right there.

Hmm, I thought the second one connected to Heater's left hand (the one holding the stick). I then thought Nemo may have stepped on him. Either way, he looked to be in a ton of pain.

With a few of their goons, I'm not looking forward to the next match.

Well the next game against them is April 18. Pelech will most likely be called up and Torres will be in.

Man are the Sharks rolling or what. I still have no clue why McLellan had them playing that idiotic system for so long.

It does make you wonder. A lot has to do with Burns being injured. The Murray trade really freed up the D, though. It's nice to see the fast North-South game.

It was like the wild knew we traded away our proactive fighters and wanted to test us. Well. We passed the test. I know they have cluster**** and all, but I never really took the wild for a ******** team, but now I think they are.

Yeah, noticed that during the 2nd period. Some questionable hits on our smaller guys - Rupp on Couture, Clutterbuck on Boyle. Wild trying to test our mettle.

Minny fans are pissed in their GDT. They make it seem like the Wild played against 18 Raffi Torres and blind refs. I must have been watching a different game.

They were whinning a lot starting with California ice then ending with Heatley. My take on Heatley is don't fight after the game is lost. It's pointless for the one that gets hurt. I guess heat of the moment lowers IQ temporarily.

I also thought the Wild assumed the Sharks would be softer without Clowe and prior to Torres' arrival, but apparently they have more wounds to lick and no points to show for it.

Who ever mentioned it earlier was right on. The wild tried to test the sharks toughness after trading Murry and Clowe. The sharks responded nicely. Burish played better again tonight.
