Awesome. And on both goals, Macklin starts the sequence by maintaining possession on the boards and then making a simple play to keep that possession... Then going hard to the front of the net and beating his man. Simple, clean, effective hockey, plus the elite skill to see/make that pass and to bury that shot one-touch short side.

Gotta say Mack already passed Bedard in hockey lessons by going to this tournament. This is such a big jump for Mack playing along with Crosby and MacKinnon AND succeeding. This was such a great way to show his country that he is ready to take the crown from Crosby once he retires one day. We got the king!
