Second in the divison baby..

also, I'd start Cam on Monday. Not for this performance but feel he was rusty, needs more time.

Win win win win win win win win win win win win.

Shades of the 05-06 team with the 2-0 deficit and winning by 2.

English is my first language and if I just had my first 3 point night in the NHL as a rookie, I probably couldn't talk much better in front of thousands.

I'd do the opposite - JP on Monday throw something different at Vancouver.
Let Cam stop the Oil.

Cam is gonna get three of the next 4 to work off the rust -- he either has 2 days off between now and Monday and another 2 before the flames.

Or 3 days off - and then every other night for 3 games.

The the break the week after is ridiculous.

I know he wasn't good tonight but he did have four days off, He needs to play to get into a groove.. and they also have to get Khudobin in.

As long as the Canes are winning, I don't really care who's in net.

Interesting line I'm probably overanalyzing. When Nash was asked postgame to explain the Hurricanes' recent success -

"Staal started playing and Skinner started scoring..."

Leadership.

I second that -- I think just think the every other night for three games would be better to find that groove.

I would be shocked if we see Khudobin before the three games 12/20, 12/21 and 12/23.

I think those 5 days are the window for something to happen for Peters trade wise.

One of the more enjoyable games I've been at in a long time. Nice to see them rebound from some adversity. Ward looked pretty shaky all night, maybe it's rust, but I'd say two of those goals were on him (even though one was deflected) and he didn't look great at other times.

Jordan Staal is really playing well right now and if he had a bit more finishing touch, he would have had a hat trick, but even without the scoring, he is a force on the ice. The top line looked great and dangerous in the 2nd period, but looked gassed and couldn't get the puck out of their zone at the end of the game as Ruutu struggled to get the puck out of the zone a number of times in the same shift. 3 shifts in a row they were stuck in their zone.

By far best game by Lindholm. When he gets stronger, he's going to be a fantastic player. He excels in tight spaces but get's knocked around too much right now, but as that strength comes, I think we'll see how special he can be.

Regarding his height, here is a picture from the draft combine. Looks close to 6'1" Maybe a bit shorter.
