He's looking exactly like he did down the stretch his first year for us. I get he's hurt but go to the net instead of sitting around the perimeter. Also why is he trying to be a playmaker on the pp, he doesn't have the vision nor the hands really to open those passes up. He needs to be playing exactly like El Nino is for us.

They just sat him, so if he's still injured why rush him back?? We were playing freaking San Jose! Could have given him a couple more days and let him rest/heal up for Minnesota.

It's exceedingly difficult for teams to make up points this late in the season. You really think the Flames or Panthers are going to make up seven or eight points with 19 games remaining? Maybe if the Jets continue to win two of their next 10 games. That's entirely possible. Unlikely, but possible.

Figured OT was a sure thing against that lot - nothings going right.
Got goalied to an extent - lot of bad luck - PP struggled - couple of late decisions that were not great (player and coach).

This was a game we should have won. Two months ago, this would have been a no brainer. Tonight, not so much. Reimer was great though.

Really?? Weve lost 3 of our last 4. I would say today was the best weve played in that stretch and still lost. I'd argue the only reason we looked good tonight is because we were playing a tank team with half their players being AHL level.

Agreed, the new guys brought some energy, but in the end what was with coaching decisions to let Wheeler on PK and what was with Scheiffle doing pulling back to back shifts? Bones or Arniel just not dealing with that Merde?

They didn't lose because of systems - they can't win a face off, Reimer was good, bad puck management at the end, Rittich was off.

I will put a lot of this loss on the guy who handed their player a puck when he had it covered, a guy who had horrible rebound control all night, especially when we made his work load very very small
