Back to back games where reffing has really helped the Czechs out. I don't think it's intentional, just the way it goes some time.

No they haven't. Czechs were being screwed until Ruuta's elbow. And that was nowhere near the play and easy to miss.

Refs are human too so i do think it's hard not to bow a little of the pressure of the home crowd. The missed elbow was pretty outragous but i do think they weren't allowed to call on it because they didn't make a call on the ice.

Bummer for the swedes.

It’s the same every year, people cry Swedes have the refs on their side during the group stage. Then when it matters it’s the other way around.

I said he reminds me of Nagano Jagr... he wasn't scoring much either but he always had the puck. Free up the other lines to score (eg. Dopita). Right now Pasta is a solid pain in the ass eating minutes... our other 2 lines are scoring instead. It works but not how I envisioned.

They have gotten all the calls in the playoffs or Finland would have beaten them

That doesn't change the fact that it was a missed call. A 5 PP for the Swedes (and a game misconduct for a top Czechia dman) would have completely changed this game.

It will be a HUGE loss... he's been great. A very quiet game which is what our D needs. Same D pairs every game.. lots of chemistry. Just a stupid play from him.
