He had a bad start to the year along with the entire cup hungover team. And consistency is kind of silly to expect at $2.75M. If he had his A game all the time were no affording him.

Florida was credited with 4 High Danger chances all night. Even if he let's in every one of those and stops what he should, we win the game. Yet you go on about how none he let in were on him.
Plus Skinner isn't facing the two most dangerous players in hockey ever. He doesn't have to face McDrai, and he doesn't have to face our PP, or Booch, or Hyman etc. Charmed life being goalie of one of the best teams and still somehow having terrible stats.

Last year there were like 5 or 6 names bandied about as skinner replacements. The majority of them are having stinker seasons this year. They are dice rolls.

And a goaltender with an elite processor and puck handler that massively helped this team's ability to defend. Skinner is terrible with his reads and brutal with puck management. Critical skills which bites this team on the ass.
