Skinner and Bouchard had absolute stinkers tonight, but Adam Henrique is not an NHL caliber center. I'm sorry. This guy basically gives the opposing team an extra forward every time he steps on the ice. I haven't seen a player so consistently hemmed in his own zone and incapable of making plays on the puck since the Fall for Hall days when we were trotting out the likes of JF Jacques.

He is struggling out there. His impacts for us last year were on one and done, one-touch plays. Outside of execution on those plays, I’m worried what else can he bring.

Laughable to blame Skinner for that when Ekholm and Bouchard embarrassed themselves repeatedly the whole night. That game was so bad from the two of them that they almost owe their teammates an apology.

That may have been the worst game Bouchard has ever played, and Ekholm wasn’t far behind. Nurse had his moments of ineptitude too.

I tend to lean towards blaming goalie more than D a lot of the time, and I HATE the “defense needs to be better in front of him” excuse 90% of the time. This was one of those nights though IMO. Sloppy, bullshit hockey preceded most of the goals against, especially the key ones in the third when we imploded. f***ing morons decided to take a nice casual approach into the third with a one goal lead and the Panthers embarrassed them for it. Deserved.

I hate to say it. But they played like they had PTSD from one too many hits in the playoffs series. They need to elevate in that situation and invite the battle. Whole team should have known what was coming their way tonight.

In a game where Bobrovsky was absolutely terrible.

One of the single worst goaltending performances I've seen. For sure it was the worst I've seen this season. From both goalies. That said Bobo made some stops. Panthers had about 9scoring chances and 6 goals. 2-3 of the goals weren't even off HDSC.

People don't look at it all either but at 5-4 and 5-5 Skinner was giving the puck away constantly on his plays behind the net. Must've been very unnerving for his D. After his dumbf*** play the night before the whole D has to be worried he's going to touch the puck. He was just passing it to Panthers in the third. Uncanny.
